Sr. Director of Community Engaged Research
Andrea Bradley-Ewing, MPA, MA
Andrea Bradley-Ewing serves as the Research Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Children's Mercy Research Institute (CMRI). As the senior director of Community Engaged Research at Children's Mercy, Ms. Bradley-Ewing as extensive experience in community-engaged and patient-centered outcomes research. Some of her work has included directing comparative intervention studies to promote medication adherence, smoking cessation, vaccination uptake, HIV prevention, and diabetes, and heart disease prevention in historically underserved communities. Ms. Bradley-Ewing also serves as the director of the CMRI Community Advisory Board and the Youth Research Advisory Board.
In her spare time, Ms. Bradley-Ewing enjoys spending time with family and watching her son play baseball.

Research Associate
Ciara Blakley, MPH
Ciara Blakley received her Masters of Public Health in global health epidemiology from the University of Michigan. During her graduate studies Ciara served as a Field Research Assistant in Ecuador where she employed qualitative methods to assess community members behaviors, beliefs, and coping skills used to manage insufficient water systems. Ciara is bilingual in English and Spanish which has greatly contributed to her passion for exploring barriers and facilitators to increasing health equity or all. Ciara's current research interests include infectious disease, disease surveillance, and increasing health equity through education. In her current role, Ciara also coordinates the Youth Research Advisory Board along side Ms. Bradley-Ewing.

In her spare time, Ciara finds time to explore national parks, enjoys gardening, and attending musical festivals.

Research Associate
Karynn E. Glover, Ph.D
Karynn Glover received her doctoral degree in Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Sciences from Wayne State University where her research examined the antecedents and subsequent effects of sport coach created psychosocial environments. She recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at children's Mercy in the Center for Children's Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition. Karynn's current research interest include achievement motivation, parent-child dyad active living, healthcare and services accessibility, and community based participatory methods of increasing health equity.

In her spare time, Karynn enjoys playing with her two dogs and cat, reading, and watching KC sporting events.
